I don't remember feeling Laney move until I was about 20 or 21 weeks pregnant. But I swear that today at 17 weeks, I felt this baby. I was laying on the couch trying to take a nap and am pretty sure the baby was hanging out on the left side of my stomach. Is it normal to feel the baby at this time? I hope so. I like to feel the baby. It gives me daily confidence that my little friend is doing okay in there.
In other news, Laney is off the bottle. I am moving them to a high shelf in the cupboard for the next 5 or 6 months. It took a few different sippy cups to find what we both agree upon but we have been successful! And she seems to really enjoy cold, whole milk. So fun! Still can't believe how fast my baby is growing.
And while I love American Idol, I was a little upset last night. I thought what they did was just cruel to Jordin. They basically made her and all of America think she was going home (and I hope she wins) for a good 30 seconds. Mean joke if you ask me.

Hi Mandy. I am spying on you via your blog. I just wanted to let you know that I felt Devin move at 16 weeks. I am sure it was your little friend in there! Congratulations, by the way!
I always feel mine late, but it is very common to feel the baby move at 17 weeks, especially if you've been pregnant before.
I'm with you - I love feeling the baby move. It can be so reassuring.
Ditto what Courtney said. Now that you're on pregnancy #2, you will most likely feel the baby move earlier than you did with Laney. You know exactly what to look for.
