She seems to finally care that I am her mother. While she still will go to anyone, I think she knows who I am and likes to be with me. When Erich got her up from her nap today and she was still a little cranky, she reached for mom. It killed Erich but made me the happiest person on the earth! And I like to believe the mamamama is really about me as well.
She is always on the go. Ask my mom and dad or anyone who has watched her lately. They all comment on how she doesn't like to sit still. Luckily, she is still self-entertaining.
She likes interaction with others. She likes to "play" with other kids even when they don't know that is what she is doing. Like when she tries to pull herself up on toddlers or wrestle with newborns! And she is always on the lookout for reactions from adults.
She thinks animal nosies are funny. Her favorite book is a picture book about animals. When I look at it with her, I make all the animal nosies. She always gets a big grin. (By the way, could someone please tell me what a goat says.) And when I sing "Old MacDonald" she laughs.
She is still not a walker though she loves to walk around things. She would have walked around the entire Sunday school room today if we would not have stopped her. It's cute. I think she is pretty close to being a walker, she just seems a little scared to take the first step on her own when mom isn't waiting a few feet away.
And she is the happiest kid in the world. My mom told me that about 15 times this week. Aside from me wiping her nose and doing her hair, she is pretty much always happy. And what not to love about that.
I like one -though I also liked newborn and a few moths and 6 months and 9 months. I think it is a good sign of my life to come with Miss Laney!

I cannot believe she is 1!!! I remember when you had her, I was so jealous, and so sick pregnant... and we had the lobster dinner and I gave Ficker a really hard time about coming over!!! It seriously was the next day or something ridiculous!
How did you do that header? I want to put a cool header on my blog, but I don't know how you scrapbook people do it!
