Happy Mother's Day to my mom. I feel pretty darn lucky to have her as my mom. She always seems to have time for us and would do anything in the world for us. (Like all of our washing and ironing even when we are in college or married). I have always been grateful for my mom but the past year has made me even more grateful. She came to help me when I had Laney and was kind enough to clean, cook, wash, iron, and do everything else for me. She even made me homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls that we froze so I could eat them when she wasn't here. And one night when Laney spit up a ton that was funny colored and I woke her up, she didn't care. She cleaned Laney up, calmed me down, and put all back to bed.
And I am grateful for the way she loved me and loved being a mom. She was never too busy to take us swimming or play a game or let us cry. Thanks for showing me what a good mom does. You are the best.

So sweet Mandy. I love the picture, and I too love your mom! There are many moms who raised me, and Betsy is up there in the top three for sure! I learned so much from her, and try to emulate her in so many ways. You are truly blessed to have her for a mother!
Cute picture. I didn't even think to take a picture with the kids this year. We had a fun dinner at mom and dads.
