Thursday among other things

Thursday. That has been my token answer the past few days. Now I hope that Allie just cooperates and comes by Thursday. Erich tried to tell me today that I shouldn't get my hopes up. I go to the doctor tomorrow and hope for good news. I will keep you posted. On the bright side, I am ready for my sub. Everything is copied, written up, and in my desk just waiting for the baby to come. I do hope to be able to administer the test tomorrow so that I can have grades done by tomorrow afternoon and be all prepared for Parent-Teacher Conferences- which I hope to NOT be in attendance for. But I do not have a hospital bag ready. I laugh every time I talk to my mom and she informs of the pile of stuff in her suitcase that she doesn't want to forget to bring me. Maybe I should make a pile of stuff in a bag as well. Then maybe Allie would know I am really ready for her.

A piece of advice to anyone who might become pregnant at some point in their life: don't try to go to a movie a week before your baby is due. Even though it seems like it will be your last chance for a bit- you will regret it. Erich and I went to see The Bourne Ultimatum Friday night. My younger brother Craig graciously agreed to babysit for us (thanks again Craig). And while the movie was great, I thought I was going to die. I moved positions every 5 minutes and had to get up about halfway through to walk around and get a drink. We should have gone to see it when I was 7 months pregnant and not 9 months pregnant.

And a question, does anyone have a better way to clean their kitchen floors then with the good old broom and dustpan. I feel like I should be sweeping my floors 3 times a day. And I HATE it. It is really one of my least favorite tasks (I don't mind mopping them so much just sweeping them). So has anyone found a good solution?

Mandy- Hope your baby cooperates and gets you out of your parent teacher conferences!

Also, I HATE sweeping my floor, so I vacuum it! Saves on so much time, and gets in between my tiles much better. Hope it works for you.

Wow, I can't believe Allie is almost here!

As far as kitchen floors go, in between moppings I just usually use my little dustbuster to get stuff up. Now that I think of it, I actually don't even own a broom!

Mandy, you and Erich have left quite a legacy in the Lindon 15th Ward. Everyone loves you and talks about you so much!

Can you say Star Wars? We(meaning Travis) had to go when I was pregnant with Dallas which entailed waiting in line for a few hours before the long boring movie even began. Then trips to the bathroom, and the worst part was that my feet were so swollen by the end I thought they would literally explode when we were walking out of the movie. I'll never forget that.
