1. Erich- I love his quirky sense of humor and his crazy hobbies. (Maybe I should say I have a love-hate relationship with his hobbies! Ask anyone who was with him last weekend at the big race!) More than that, I love the way he interacts with our kids, especially Laney. (I am sure that bond will come with Allie but he is convinced that she doesn't like him and cries whenever he comes around.)
2. Laney- The sweet little girl can almost always put a smile on my face. I love that when Erich and I ask for kisses, she goes back and forth between us sharing the love. And I love that she FINALLY likes to play with me and read with me. And I love that she understands me and usually does what I ask.
3. Allie- I love that she smiles now. She has been doing it for a few weeks now but I just barely caught it on camera. I love that she makes those cute baby noises. And I love that when I am holding her at night, she will cuddle up close and just hold on to my shirt.
4. Pictures of my girls together- I know I talk about my fears and dreams for my daughters' relationship way too much. But because of it, I love to see Laney hold her when I want to take pictures of them. And I love to watch the two of them just look at each other.
4. The holidays- It is nice to have something to celebrate. It is nice to have a few weeks off school. It is nice to be able to decorate the tree and the rest of the house. It is nice to have an excuse for family get-togethers. And it is really nice to be able to remember the birth and life of Christ.
I have a lot more favorite things. But those will have to come another day. Please note though that in the picture of Erich and Laney they are looking at the snow and the snow did not make this list. Don't expect it to make any list of my favorite things because it isn't one.

Hi Mandy! I really wish we were still neighbors. I guess checking your blog everyday is the next best thing. It's a good thing you're as dedicated with your blog as you are with the journal writing.
Your girls are adorable and Erich is almost just as cute! You look fantastic and I wish I could pop them out as well as you do. You were always good at making things look easy!

I think yall should just move to Texas. That way there will be no snow, and you and Eric could get paid more-- and live cheaper. Plus, Carson needs a girlfriend!!! Just pick up and move why dont ya!!!
