It's been a while

2008 has been a bad year for the blog. I blame it on sleep. Not only do I have a 4 month old but I think I have some insomnia problems as well. So when Allie would cry at night, I would wake up and then sometimes be up for a few hours- not because of her but because of my sleeping issues. She is finally starting to sleep through the neitre night- even dropping her 10 pm feeding with Erich. And I am starting to finally sleep better as well. Makes me feel so much better. I am actually starting to accomplish some things around my house and then gives me some time to blog. So hopefully, I will start to be a better blogger. Here is the last week in pictures.

Jan. 30

We had some friends over for dinner. Laney was too distracted by everyone to eat when the rest of us did. But she was sure glad we had to pull out the kitchen chairs and decided to eat her quesadilla a little later in her favorite place.

My cousin recently posted a picture of her sleeping baby. It reminded me that I should document what Allie needs to sleep- her blankies. Normally they are all on top of her face. Imoved them for the picture. Yes, she sleeps in a pack and play. I am not ready for Laney to be in a bed or to buy another crib. And she doesn't seem to mind!

Feb. 4

Erich lives for cuddle time with the Babens. He was happy Laney obliged him for a few minutes.
