We returned from a quick trup to AZ last night. We left Friday after I was done with work and came home yesterday. While it was a short visit, we loved being in Phoenix. We were able to wear flip-flops and drive with the windows down. And Laney loved being able to play outside in a short-sleeve shirt.
We stayed with my parents and were able to see my sister and her family a lot as well. Laney loves playing with the big kids. And Allie is lucky because they all seem to love babies. Every time I looked at Allie, one of my sister's kids was laying on the floor playing with her. It was great to have constant babysitters (if that is what you call 4 and 5 year old kids.)
I think Laney was sad to come home because she whined and cried for the first 5 hours of our return drive. And then for a few hours later. She was so fun that Erich even questioned whether next time we could take her to the plane, buckle her in, and then have my mom pick her up in AZ. I told him that I didn't think we would be allowed. He told me we weren't driving anywhere for a long time then!

I can't believe that you drove down and back in that amount of time. I know that drive... I wouldn't choose to do it! :)
Glad that you got to see everyone though!
it was fun to see you, too bad Laney gave you such a hard time, that's no fun for anyone! Maybe we'll see you in March, if you're lucky.
