5 months. I can't believe she has been here that long but also can't remember life without her. She is usually content and happy. She is fun to interact with. And is becoming more and more aware of life around her.
She smiles at anyone who gives her attention.
She loves to have something in her mouth. Pacifier, her thumb, her hand. my hand, cords, any toy around. If she can see it, it goes to her mouth.
She takes a great morning nap and a decent afternoon nap. (Her dad has her trained.) And yes she is sleeping under that blanket.
She loves her feet and has recently been trying to get those into her mouth.
She wakes up crying at between 6 and 7am every day but as soon as I start to pick her up the crying stops and the smiling starts.
She loves to move herself around in a circle to check out everything on the floor nearby. When she gets bored with a toy, she just rotates herself a little more to find something else.
She is a good eater. She seems interested in whatever I am eating and probably wishes that I would start giving her baby food. Unfortunately, I hate baby food and will probably wait another month to start that battle.
And she is just a little thing. Laney is small and I know that I am to blame. But I am starting to think Allie will be smaller than Laney. My poor kids.

And I thought Allie and I had a special bond. I thought she likes me as much as Laney does, but if she smiles at everyone...
Mandy,not poor kids, it's okay for girls to be little, just think of the alternative, it would be much harder to be a 6'2 250 pound girl. Trust me, you should be glad to pass on little genes so they can fit into little jeans. I'm loving the cute blanket in the first photo wherever did you get it? And I don't know about sleeping with blankets on your head, isn't that bad?

She is so cute!!! I love that little green striped dress on her to. Who gave you that? Christian also sleeps with his blankets over his face. It scares me, but I guess he is old enough to move it if he can't breath, right? Such cute girls you have.
