Laney has always liked dogs. The neighbors (and close family friends) Steve and Colleen have three. Laney loves to go see them. She looks to see if they are at the gate every time we are outside and if they aren't, she reports that doggies sleeping. Colleen brought her this stuffed animal dog. Laney adores it. She cuddles with it and rides it like a horse and promptly takes it from Allie if she ever touches it. (This last part I don't like so much.)
Laney and her trains. She found some Little Tike trains in my mom's toys a while back and likes to get it out and pretend it is a car. Today I was extra nice and set up the track so we could play. She thought it was extra fun especially because the track has a hill in it which she thought was a slide. While she was napping, I cleaned it up. After nap time, she played with the train for a long time- she pushed it back and forth on the stool saying chug chug chug chug and an occasional choo choo.
And this dang car. My parents somehow inherited it from a neighbor. It is probably 10 years old. And Laney thinks it is the best thing ever. Erich is convinced that we should never buy the girls new toys again because they are happier with the old ones. Laney would push this thing around all day if I would let her. Luckily for her, today was a cooler day so we spent some time pushing it up and down the driveway today.
And John taught her something very important for the upcoming football season. Everytime he says touchdown, she throws her arms in the air like a ref and says touchdown!

She is so cute. I love her adorable outfit and your new header. I don't know if that is old news but I'm just seeing it for the first time.
I love the new header especially the pic of Allie.
if you really loved her, you would buy her a real dog.
I miss those little girls!! Laney is hilarious. When are you guys coming eastward and PSI would not be against you bringing your children with you. People tell me that New York is at its best in October. Just FYI
