Too many adults
I am starting to wonder if Laney is surrounded by too many adults (my parents, 2 of my brothers, Erich, and myself). Since living here, I have gone from momma to mommy and now just mom. What 2 year old refers to their parents as mom and dad? And today she referred to my dad as Dalton instead of grandpa.

don't worry my 3yr old did the same thing. He calls dh by his 1st name sometimes because I do it. We just tell him that he is to call him Daddy. I am Mom most days as well.
hilarious. Asher started doing that too when we lived with my in-laws. He still called me mommy, but he referred to his dad as John (he didn't call him that,he just referenced him that way) and he called my dad Dale ( I think the 2 Grandpa thing confused him- he still calls my mom Grandma because John's mom s Nana).
How are you liking being back in AZ?
they go through a first name phase, I think they get a kick out of the reaction, and they come to realize that everyone has a name. Too funny though, I bet your Dad loved that! Plus I think it's good for them to talk to adults, less baby talk.
