Shortly before naptime today, Laney announced she wanted oatmeal. It's not really that strange of a request as she makes it for almost every meal. We (my mom, Erich, and I) all played it off. Erich even made some joke about Allie going to help Laney get oatmeal as Allie crawled after her sister. A few minutes later, my mother exclaimed, "Oh no!" This is why.
I guess I should keep a better eye on my kids.

Austin and I did this once, but with powdered sugar. My mom likes to say that when she discovered us, she almost swore into the phone. Can you imagine Pam swearing?
