Grandpa has a smoothie every morning. Laney thinks she needs one too. Which sometimes end ups all over her face. And sometimes it ends up all over the floor.
Allie squawks baby talk quite frequently and quite loudly. So does Laney.
When I hold or rock Allie in my arms, Laney holds and rocks her monkey in her arms. She sings the same song I am, tries out the same soothing words as me, and holds the blankies just like me.

And yesterday, she thought she could shave just like dad and Grandpa. She found Brad's razor and tried to do just what they did. Lucky for her, Erich found her right as she was starting, leaving her with minimal damage.
I know she is just trying to learn to be independent but sometimes it is easier (and a lot safer) when she relies on me for everything.

I remember a few years ago your mother telling me she had a 4 yr. old running her life, I replied that that was nothing as I had a 3 yr. old running mine. Any guesses as to which 2 little girls we were referring to?
Kate says: this so funny and cute.
Seth says: She really shouldn't be doing that.
