two days post-accident

This first shot was taken Monday.

And the next one was today (Tuesday).  While the swelling seems to be going down, the coloring is not good.  It makes me so sad.  Luckily, it doesn't seem to bother her too much at all.  She did tell me yesterday that she has one happy eye and one broken one.  And she likes to go look at it in the mirror.  I hope it gets better soon- people look at us funny in public.

And for my own record, as I rushed to pick her up and comfort her Sunday, Laney admist her tears asked two or three times, kiss it better mommy.  I kissed it quite a few times, only wish I could have made it all better.

Mandy, that is so sad, glad Laney has a good sense of humor to deal with it! Hallie got a whopper on her forehead once and I remember feeling horrible. But they seem to be resiliant, now you'll remember this as the Christmas with the shiner!

Um...I just read Nancy's comment. I'm glad we pretty much said the exact same thing.

Oh my gosh Mandy! Poor little girl, but I'm just waiting for Nathan to do the same. We also have a dangerous fireplace that he has missed by a few inches many many times. She's still so cute though.
