We enjoyed some fun-filled Easter activities this year. On April 4th, we went to a fun Easter Egg hunt at our friends Mike and Stephanie's house. The girls loved it. I was actually surprised how quickly Allie picked up on the idea of collecting eggs. The loved the candy they discovered inside even more.

On Saturday, we decorated some eggs. Allie would have broken them all had I let her and Laney wanted hers all pink because that was the color directly in front of her. Neither of them seemed to really have the patience for this activity. I am pretty sure we did our dozen eggs in less than 10 minutes.

Sunday morning, they were very excited to have some more eggs in their baskets and more candy to eat. They also enjoyed their new swim suits and probably would have been happier wearing those to church than their dresses.

We enjoyed church as well and being able to remember the real reason we celebrate Easter. I am grateful for the Atonement and the Resurrection. Church was extra nice for us as it was Allie's first day of nursery. (It's been almost 3 years since we have had no children for the 3 hour block!) She had no worries about leaving us and the girls seemes to do fine together in there.

I hope you all had an enjoyable Easter and that my students are enjoying their Passover. My girls are suffering from post-Easter trauma since I won't let them eat any candy. I guess they will have to wait until Halloween.

LOVE the Easter dresses. Your girls are so darn cute.
so fun, cute dresses, did your mom make them or are they Shabby Apple? Glad Erich pitches into the egg dying, Travis has never been a fan.
The girls look really cute in their new Easter finery. When Katie was their age, she too would rather have worn her swim suit anywhere!
So cute. Did you make those cute dresses? I have seem some of that fabric before. And....how do you keep them from having candy? Do you ever let them have candy? How do you do it? It is my bribary!
They look so cute! Where did you get those cute easter baskets?
Dresses are from Shabby Apple and baskets are from Target.
