Laney turns 4 this coming week. For the past 4 or 5 months,she has been talkinga bout having a birthday party. I tried to ignore it but couldn't anymore. So my love to plan parties sister, Courtney, helped me come up with a party based on the rainbow.
We had pizza and a rainbow array of fruit. We made pictures out of raibow color dyed pasta. We had some spoon relays with Skittles- to taste the rainbow. We went on a hunt around the backyard to find homemade crayons that were all the colors of the rainbow. The kids also did some sidewalk chalk and played around. And we ended with rainbow cupcakes and rainbow shave ice.

I made white cake batter out of a box and then divided it in to 6 small bowls. I then added food color accordingly the colors. Then I just layered it in my cupcake papers and baked. I actually had seen it online and in a magazine familly Fun. On their website it told me how much food coloring to add.
