I need your help

One of my goals for 2011 is to be a better meal planner. I am hoping it will help me enjoy cooking dinner more, make fewer trips to the grocery store, save a litle money, and a little time.

So, what are 3 to 5 of your favorite dinners? I don't want all gourmet meals that will take me forever and my kids won't eat. Feel free to leave (or email me) a recipe or leave a link to it. And if you are so kind, I will share with you too.

Meal planning is the bane of my existence!!

This dish is good and surprisingly easy if you like shrimp. I serve it over pasta. I'm sure your girls would like it too if you just leave the shrimp off their plate too:

Will brainstorm other ideas, but my repertoire is not very deep!

I made a recipe book with simple meals. Email me your address and I'll send you one (patton_ellen@hotmail.com).

spaghetti and meatballs using meatballs from costco.

honey glazed chicken and veggie fried rice using the peacock cookbook from your cousin

homemade mac and cheese

beef and broccoli with rice

cafe rio salad

tony's tiger tacos or whatever you guys call it- we make them all the time

that's all I can think of for now, we eat the uncooked tortillas from costco like they're going out of style, a few nights a week at least

Oh Sundays I do lots of roast with mashed potatoes kind of thing

Also I love fettuccine alfredo with mushrooms, yum!

Will you forward the emails with the 9 week plan and the recipe book? I need definite improvement in this area! Some of my standard meals are:

Hawaiian Haystacks
Rooney Tooney (your mom's recipe)
Shepherd's Pie whenever I have leftover roast
Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup with Buttermilk Biscuits (may be too warm for AZ!)

Post the good recipes you try!
