Allie made it to 7 months. She is growing up way too fast. As is evident in the picture, she loves food. She will probably be even more excited about food by the end of the week when I introduce fruit! She has found a new interest in books. And in ripping up Laney's coloring projects. Luckily, Laney doesn't know to be mad. She had a mishap about 6 am and when I went in to see why she was crying, she was off of the pack n play mattress like this:

I am not sure how she managed that. We are done with the ear infection medicine but she appears to have the gross eye again! She is still happy as can be and loves to be kissed, tickled, and held.

Laney is still Laney. She constantly wants to go outside and play with bubbles. (Thanks Steph for the Turbo Bubbles wand. We now have an addict.) She tries to leave with Craig, Taylor and me. She still sits outside the bathroom when Craig or Taylor go in there. She likes to hide with someone in the coat closet, she likes airplane rides, and she likes to play ring around the rosies. Basically, she likes lots of one on one attention and has lots of energy. She has been up for some good reading as well. Unfortunately, she has taken to hurting her sister again. Push, kick, hit. It's lots of fun. And she doesn't like to wear clothes. I often find her like this:
If she has a shirt on, she usually tries to put her arm through the head whole and stretch out the neck (Any suggestions on how to stop this or make sure her shirts aren't ruined?) She is against photos right now because she just wants to be able to look at the screen instead. Her cough appears to be getting better. She is still up by 6am but I am working on that. Best of all, she has had lots of cheesy smiles for me lately and has been up for cuddling.

The girls and I miss Erich. Laney has taken a new liking to Craig as he is the only male around. She constantly is saying daddy. I am sure Allie is heartbroken as well. I miss having his help. And I actually kind of miss his rude remarks. Luckily it is less than 3 weeks until we go to AZ for Memorial Day. And I am really glad Craig and Taylor are here. I don't know what I would do without them.

It's always hard for everyone when Daddy is gone. I'm glad Gay and Tay are there to help. We are trying to help take care of Erich while he is here.
I thought about you yesterday...we went to a neighborhood event and I had a yummy watermelon snowie! We need a snowie here too.
I know how hard it is to not have a daddy/hubby around. I am glad you have some help, even though its not quite the same. Hopefully your time will go fast. Maybe I will see you Memorial Day Wknd!
So glad Laney likes her bubbles. We have an industrial size of bubbles sitting on the front porch at all times, it is Ellie's favorite too!
I just read through your blog and am all caught up on Mandyville. That has to be hard without Erich, good thing you have Gay and Tay around to help! Can't wait to see you Mem. Weekend, can't believe Johnny Boy will be home, time flies! Hope all goes well and you owe me a Snowie!
