My sister Courtney and her family as well as my sister-in-law Kamy and her kids went to CA for the past week. They had rented a 5 bedroom house and invited us to go along. Erich had some stuff to take care of here so my mom, the girls, and I drove over on Sunday and came back Wednesday afternoon. It was a short trip but a fun trip. We played at the beach and by the pool. We were also lucky enough to see Nanette and kids, Liz with Christian, and Stephanie and kids. It is always fun to catch up with friends- especially when they have as funny of stories as Liz did. While neither of my kids seemed interested in the ocean water, they did like the beach. Laney partook of quite a bit of sand- more than I would have liked. Allie seemed extra interested in the seaweed. And we all loved being with the family. Allie and Laney are lucky to have cousins who love them so much.

I LOVE that picture of Laney. I am glad she recovered from her mouthful's of sand. It was fun to see you and the girls (and your mom)! Cant wait for August, are you in on the pact???
