The Pantry
My mom has quite the walk-in pantry. It stores food, serving pieces, shave ice supplies, and bins of toys. Recently, Laney has figured out she can pull those pins out and play with the toys. And she does it all day long. Sometimes though, she insists that Erich, my mom, or I sit with her. Hopefully she develops an imaginary friend soon who can play with her in the pantry soon so we can have a break.
A little bit of Grandpa Ralph
Erich's dad loves trains. (Almost as much as Erich loves car.) Laney obviously got this love from him. We play trains everyday. I secretly hope she forgets about them at a younger age than her Grandpa because the dang track can be very frustrating to my 2 year old.
Breakfast
My mom made pancakes for breakfast this morning. Laney enjoyed them. A little while later, she also decided to enjoy some syrup.
Favorite uncle
John is convinced that he is Allie's favorite uncle. She lights up when comes to play with her or calls her name from across the room (don't tell him that she does this for everyone.) He is always telling me that she is his best friend. (yes, it does make me worry about him) And the other morning he even changed her diaper. He thinks he deserves Uncle of the Year. (I haven't mentioned that Allie follows Brad around all morning while Brad gets ready for work because I don't want John to feel bad.)
