Hollywood here I come???

I have mentioned before that James used to have my current cell phone number. I still get 4 to 5 calls a week for him. I used to ignore calls from numbers I didn't know. But then those people would leave me crazy long messages and continue to call until they actually heard from me that James no longer has this phone number.

I shouldn't have answered tonight's call. After telling the man with a Waco, TX area code that this was no longer Jame's phone number, he commented that I probably get phone calls a lot for James. I agreed and then he thought we were best friends and we should chat. (More like he should ramble on for a long time) He informed me that James had a business in the entertainment industry and that he took off without paying a lot of people. He also informed me that if I started talking to some of these people who called I might get a break in the entrainment business. And then he told me about his successful career including being in Apocalypse Now and being friends with Richard Gere and Martin Sheen because he had been in some movies with them. And then he told me that he had two kids in their twenties. And then he asked if I was married. (I was so happy to say I was.) And then he asked me if I was interested in getting in the entertainment industry. And then he told me about some great online multi-level marketing scheme that would make me lots of money. And then he told me he was really sorry that I had James' phone number. And then he finally got off the phone.

I don't think I will answer calls from numbers I do not know anymore.

This James must be quite a guy, next time ask someone what his last name is and google him!

I answered a call from a number I didn't recognize the other day and they asked for Erich. So I want you to thank me for not telling him your new number!

You don't know me, but I'm married to the woman formerly known as Brittany Bowen, now Burton.

I am so glad you answered the phone, because you just made my day. This the funniest thing I've heard all day, and that includes Paris Hilton announcing her plan to run for President.

Thank you for making my day.

Nice! My number used to be my brother's, and I just stopped acting like I knew who he was after answering calls for 2 years!
Good luck with the entertainment industry. You'll be great.
