Pictures from our trip

Here are some pictures from our trip to California.  The first ones were during our time with Erich's family.  We went to the park one morning that the kids loved.  And we spent some time going through 9 boxes that Erich's parents had brought him.  (I thought we should get rid of a lot more than he did).  One of the boxes included his old trumpet that Erich thought he should play a lot.  Laney and Allie wanted to try it out as well.  And Laney LOVED his uncle's cats.  They, of course, were scared of her but she still would sit and call to them in hopes that they would come back.

The rest of the pictures are from our time at California Adventure and Disneyland.  We hit up the Playhouse Disney show as soon as we got there because Laney loves Little Einsteins.  She stood up and danced the whole time.  The rest of the day we rode rides (including the Haunted Mansion for our ghost-obsessed daughter), eating, seeing friends (Steph was kind enough to go in the morning with us and then we ran into Adam and Cristy and kids, some of our good friends from Utah), and watching a Holiday Parade.  We didn't leave until about 9:30.  The kids were great and crashed as soon as we got in the car.  ANd as much as Erich didn't want to go, I think he was even really glad we went.
