Allie learned to crawl. And then to walk. And is trying to talk. She is easy going. And is moving too quickly from baby to toddler. And is hoping that 2009 finally brings her some teeth.
Laney really seemed to change from my baby to a kid. She talks up a storm. Dances. Sings. And has the best personality around. She only had one set of stitches and one very black eye. She hopes that 2009 gives her more freedom.
Erich gave up one race car for another. And in the process made room for a truck to pull trailers with. He found a new track to race on and new friends to talk cars with. And has started a new business or two. He hopes 2009 means lots of snow cones and lots of racing.
I left my favorite place of employment. I found a new one with less students and less hours. It is a learning experience but one I am enjoying. I hope that 2009 allows me more time to digital scrapbook, play with vinyl, and play mom. (And I secretly hope it brings my sister back to the western US).
We sadly left many friends and family in Utah. But we are not at all sad about leaving the winter behind. We are enjoying AZ. We make lots of snow cones. We enjoy warm weather. We are meeting new people. We hope 2009 finds us a place of our own, continued good health, and lots of love.
Here is hoping 2009 is enjoyable and blessed for all of us.
