2. Laney has a pushing problem. Not a biting or hitting. Just shoving Allie or her cousins. How do I curb that behavior or any other bad behaviors she picks up along the way.

Can't really help you on either one, but I always think the curls look cute, so you must be doing something right, Katie would probably be better help on that one. Have you tried time out on the pushing? The best time out for me is to send Hallie to her room and tell her to come back when she's either ready to say she's sorry or ready to be happy. She really stays in her room until she's ready, but maybe Laney is a bit too young, you could try it.
Oh my, Allie's hair is precious! No good advice on either count unfortunately, I just had to comment on the hair!
I ususally just shove them back. Maybe that is why my kids still fight all the time?
love the curls! Ivy has a few (much less than Allie- I'm jealous) and it always looks frizzy, but I've found a little palm aid, straight conditioner or this frizz eaze gel stuff works best. It's usually just a drop or two rubbed on my hands and then I grab her curls a little (if that makes any sense). Of course, most of the time Ivy just has frizzy hair, that's just my solution for special occasions (aka church?)
Did you not learn a thing about curly hair while we were roomates? Conditioner....she needs some conditioner on it that you put on after you rinse the first round out. Trust me, I have been through this many times myself. Just put a pea size dabb on your hand and rub it around while her hair is still wet. Then put a little bit of gel and let it air dry!
