Not til you are 8, Laney

A month or two ago, I picked up a couple copies of the Gospel Art Book. We use it as our method to do family scripture time. We look at a picture and then tell the scripture story that goes along with it. It takes all of about 2 minutes but that is possibly longer than my girls' attention spans. Sometimes after we are done, the girls flip through the other pictures. In particular, they like the gospel in action section as it just shows modern-day photos of people doing thinks like praying or at the temple.
Recently, we came upon this photo. So Erich was explaining to Laney that the girl was being baptized. And that one day when she was bigger, he would baptize her. Now, everyday when we pull out our books, Laney says,"I want to see the picture of daddy baptizing Laney." And we have to find this picture. And then I have to explain that she is only three and can't get baptized until she turns 8. And she reminds me that when she is big like Seth and Cade she can get baptized. We've talked about being able to go to there baptisms next year. And she was so excited. I am not sure if April and May can come soon enough.
