If Laney had her way, this is what she would so all day long every day. She would just sit and watch this little guy. And she would be sure to wipe his face anytime he spit up. And help him with the pacifier if it fell out. And she would say "Shh, shh, shh" anytime he started to cry. This is heaven to her.
I don't let her though because it also means she gives me commentary of every sound he makes. And she tries to keep Allie away from him-causing some fights. And she thinks she should feed him and change him and do everything for him. And that is not heaven to me. So we compromise with doing this for a portion of the day and doing other things the rest of the time.
