- Last week was the first week of school. (I survived.) It does require a little extra time as I am trying to make sure that I have everything ready for my students and such.
- We had Erich's friends over. It required some extra cleaning, grocery shopping, and cooking. Thanks for all of your suggestions for food. I ended up serving chips and salsa and 7-layer dip, spinach dip, fruit and dip, marshmallow popcorn, and caramel cookies. People seemed to enjoy it and I enjoyed the leftovers!
- Erich has been sick for the past 4 days. Aside from going to his friend's sealing on Saturday, he hasn't left the house. He even skipped the reception because he wasn't feeling well. He is too weak to do much of anything. It means I am doing a lot of extra work trying to care for my whiny husband along with all of my other household jobs.
- I took the time to count how many more Sundays I had to try to get Laney to sit through Relief Society-5. I know I will have another child then but in my opinion a newborn is a lot easier in church than a toddler.
- Twilight- I think this one speaks for itself. I loved it. I can't wait to start the next one but I am trying to wait until the weekend and til Erich is feeling better. Then he can play with Laney when I can't put the book down.
- Laney has been extra needy. For the first time in her life, I think she is having some separation issues. When I come home from work, I cannot leave her eyesight without her getting upset. And Erich can barely pick her up since being sick so she really feels like she needs some extra attention from me in the afternoon. Those things along with the fact that we are transitioning from 2 naps to 1 nap, have somewhat thrown my adorable kid for a loop. Hopefully we will all get used to this new schedule soon!
- And if by chance I do have a spare 15 minutes, I usually want to try and nap.
So I guess that is where the last week of my life has gone. I hope with the 3 day weekend approaching to find a little extra time in my week.

You're super mom Mandy! Is the new one really coming in 5 weeks? Dallas couldn't even go to nursery when Hallie was born, I think I had you beat! You'll survive, I promise. Get some rest, you deserve it.
Girl! I hope that Eric feels better soon. So you can relax yourself. I don't know how your doing it all in your last few weeks of pregnancy. You are my hero! Addy is going through a clingy stage as well. I think it is their age maybe. I am hoping it ends soon. I can't even sit to eat dinner without her wanting to be up on my lap. It is not fun. Anyway, good luck getting through the next month. Your in our prayers!
a sick husband drains the energy of the entire family! I hope you get a break this weekend.
