I am afraid this picture is proof of Laney picking up on one of her parent's bad habits-- playing on the computer! Unfortunately this is not a staged picture. Yesterday while I was at work, Erich was on the laptop. He needed something out of our room so he left the computer open but leaned it against the back of the couch. When he came back from our room, this is what he saw. Yes, Laney climbed on the couch and somehow managed to pull the laptop onto her lap. And don't worry, she had opened a notepad and was typing some things up. I better warn her to not be too smart or her dad is going to put her to work very soon!
Second, Laney has figured out how to open her closet doors. On the floor of her closet is a box or two of hand-me-downs from my sister. Usually Laney just takes some of the clothes out and puts them on the floor but lately she has been bringing out certain articles of clothing. Erich is sure she is trying to pick out her own outfits--don't worry, she doesn't fit in any of the outfits yet. I guess this is what she brought out to Erich today. (Since the temperature was only in the 60s he made her put it on over the pajamas!)
