One Month

Miss Allie is one month today and I can't remember my life without her. She is getting bigger which means Erich is more willing to hold her as he feels she is less likely to break. And Laney loves her as much as ever. Laney loves to sit on the couch and hold Allie. She gives her little kisses all day long as well. We are so happy she is part of our family.

We seem to be getting the gas issue under control (thanks to gripe water) which means Allie is falling very nicely into a schedule. That also makes all of us happy- probably Laney the most happy because Allie has become a good napper and I can devote lots more undivided attention to Laney during those naps. Now if we could just get to the sleeping through the night stage, I would be the happiest person on the planet! (How is it that you forget how tired you are having a newborn in the house?)

All in all, we feel lucky to have her. I can't believe how quickly this past month has gone for me. In just a few weeks, I will be back at work and before long Allie will be rolling and moving and trying to fight back when her sister hits her and pokes her in the eye!

Looks like everything is going well with your cute little family. Your girls are adorable, and I'm glad you are doing well with two little handfulls... I will not fare so well!

It's amazing how fast it goes. Rachel is two months old, crazy. Allie is a doll.

It all goes too fast Mandy, enjoy your little ones while you've got them. Don't let Erich break her!
