A favorite weekend activity at our house.

January 19th

I am not going to lie. I forgot to take a picture yesterday. But if I did take a picture yesterday, here are what it could have looked like.

• Allie rolling. Except, she never wants to roll when I have the camera out. On Thursday (the 17th), she rolled twice from her tummy to her back. I was afraid it was a fluke because she did it a few times at 5 or 6 weeks because of her gas issues. But she did it a few times Friday, Saturday, and today so I think it is a real skill. Still a little hard for her but she can do it.

• Craig and Taylor for being our favorite people. Last night, they were kind enough to come watch the girls so Erich and I could go out to eat. We went to Cheesecake Factory (thanks Casey and Kamy). It was a long wait but we ran an errand and walked around the mall. And I made Erich turn off his phone so that he wasn't on it the entire time. We had a good time. It was nice to go out by ourselves again. It is something we haven't done much since Laney was born. But after last night, I am convinced it is something we need to do more often. Craig and Taylor said the girls were perfect which makes me happy. And we enjoyed hanging out with the two of them for a while when we came home.

• Yummy banana bread. I wish I could bake all of the time and never have to cook real meals!
