I have been a bad blogger. I have about 15 posts started in my head. I am going to try and get some of them actually posted. Let's start with Miss Laney.
I am pretty sure Laney is happier with the move than anyone else in the family(and that is saying a lot since I am pretty dang happy.) She loves her Grandma and follows her around all day long. She also loves to see her cousins and thinks she is as big as they are. (we are really going to miss Court, Jeff, and the kids when they leave us for New Jersey.)
She loves the water. She might be part fish. Courtney and I took our kids to the city pool (It is beach entry plus they have other water features there too) the other day and Laney was in heaven. The only problem was that I had to keep a close eye on her because she wasn't afraid to try to walk to the areas that were too deep for her.
Laney thinks words need an o or a at the end of them. Common words for her are Allie-a, waffle-a, cup-a. Strange but funny nonetheless.
Laney eats pretty much all day. Yesterday for breakfast she had a banana and 3 squares of a waffle. She knows where the cookies are and the Popsicles are. And she knows that if she asks Grandma she will probably get those but if she asks Mom she probably won't.
She loves the attention of living with so many adults. I think she likes when I tell her it is bedtime because she loves to go from person to person giving kisses and saying "night, night."
She also likes stools. She thinks she has graduated from her seat to sitting at a barstool for her meals. She also likes to move the stools to get what she wants. She picks them up and carries them to the sink of wherever someone is cooking. I have reverted to putting some stools on top of the kitchen table and desk.
She seems to be learning so much everyday. It is so fun to watch her learn and grow.
