Laney has been obsessed with cell phones for a few months now. When she started to crawl that was the one thing we could get her to crawl to. She has done some nice things to Erich's and my phones in those few months because all she wants to do is suck on them. In fact, for a few days I couldn't use mine because it had so much saliva in it people couldn't hear me. My phone was dying a long slow death because of my sweet child.Yesterday I bought myself a new phone. I have been up for a new phone since last May and finally went to get it. (Thanks to my cousins who gave me a very nice family special!) That meant that Laney also received a new phone. And she has loved it. When I came home from work, she was playing with it. When she woke up from her afternoon nap, she was playing with it. And before bedtime, she was trying to play with it. Unfortunately for Laney, I took the phone away. I noticed that it started typing it 963 over and over again without her help; the time was continually flashing; and then it started vibrating non-stop. I had to take the phone apart to get it to stop. Laney will have to wait til her dad gets back in town to properly stop the phone from working before it becomes her new toy. Until then, enjoy this picture of Laney and her toy. Don't mind the diaper look. Lets just say she had a really pretty diaper!

Addy has my old cell phone too. She was eating mine and it went into earphone mode...even though I didn't have an ear phone on it at the time. It took me hours to figure out how to change the mode. Needless to say she has her own phone now.
