Opinions please
We are starting to do some updating of different parts of our house. We are starting with a bathroom and then will move on. In order to proceed with the bathroom, I have to make some major choices for the entire house. The first one being what color tile floor I want in the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, and entryway. Erich has brought me home different samples everyday. Today he brought home one I really like. The problem is decorating is not my forte. So here are a few shots of the tile with my kitchen cabinets- those will not be changes in the updating. One is with no flash. So my question is, do they look okay together? And please be honest, you are not going to offend me.

K, all I will say is make sure you want dark before you sign up for that one. It looks similar to one that was put in a model home we looked at, and I thought it looked a little pukey walking through... However, it also depends on the color of your carpet, and walls, etc. I have darker carpet, darker cabinets, and a light tile... i needed some contrast, where I didnt look too brownish. Love looking at new pics of Laney, she is so adorable! She looks like she belongs on some commercial in that closet picture. Too cute!
I like it in the two with flash, but not the one without. So it's hard to say. Which one does it look more like in person?
I like it together from what you can tell in the pictures. In response to the earlier comment, I would be careful not to go too light on the flooring. EVERYTHING shows up.
Yes Lindsey is right! Everything shows up on a light light tile, same with carpet. It's such a tough call, but I'd do somewhere in the middle of what you have shown and those light tiles, I think mine is ultra cheap lame-o tile that is too light for my taste (thats what happens when someone else picks it out)-- some day we'll replace it!
