We enjoyed some fun festivities to celebrate Easter. On Saturday, Laney and I dyed Eater eggs. I boiled 12 but after 6 decided we had had enough fun!

Sunday the girls enjoyed a few Easter treats.

And I enjoyed dressing them up in matching outfits for church. We enjoyed church as we always do except sneaky little Laney discovered she could escape from nursery when other kids were being picked up. Luckily, my neighbor saw her and picked her up for us.

That afternoon, we went to my Aunt Adrienne's house for dinner. (Adrienne is great- she always has us over since we have no family here!) We also had an egg hunt for the kids, some game for the older boys (I don't know what it is called but they play it every time we go to Adrienne's house), and a family home evening on the resurrection. The food and company were great and I think Laney was excited about all her candy. Unfortunately, her dad has taken over eating it for her. Oh well.

We had a great day and hope that spring has really come and the warmer weather is here to stay.

Cute girls. I like your easter bags - where di you get them? My kids keep getting the $1 ones each year so I am thinking maybe I should invest in something nicer.
Looks like a fun Easter, Allie looks to be finally getting bigger!
Looks the like Easter Bunny was good to your girls! I hope for your sake that the weather stays warmer!
p.s. thanks for sending the dresses with Courtney, they are very cute!
